Who's Who - Get to know Lizzie and her friends
Anna Elizabeth Kincaid – Better known as Lizzie. She's a single woman in her early thirties who works as a corporate travel agent at the Consolidated Mining Corporation. Lizzie grew up in Crossroads, PA and is from a tight-knit family that includes four police officers. She lives alone in a converted row house with her two cats, Hugs and Kisses. In her spare time, she enjoys reading romance novels, playing with her nieces, and spending time with her two best friends, Meg and Jess.
Colin D. Blake – Colin is a British business executive and philanthropist. Divorced for many years, he has a thirteen-year-old daughter, Victoria. Though Colin lives in London, he travels frequently and loves to escape to his family's country home, Snowhill. He has a fondness for Cuban cigars, fine Scotch, and negotiating the terms of his next big business deal.
Victoria Blake – Colin's thirteen-year-old daughter. Tori attends a top British boarding school and excels academically. She is bright and articulate, with a wide variety of interests that include horseback riding, soccer, and ballet.
Meg Knight – Meg is one of Lizzie's closest friends; she is known for her quick wit, her bullshit detector, and her protectiveness. Originally from Western Australia, Meg came to the US on a temporary assignment and hasn't made it back yet. She is an administrative assistant to Consolidated's VP of Sales. When she isn't doing her boss's job, she is a talented artist and writer.
Jess Denver – Lizzie's other best friend. Jess came to Pennsylvania from Nebraska for college and decided to stay for a while. She works in customer service at Consolidated, so she and Lizzie commiserate on the challenges of dealing with people. When she's not hanging out with the girls, Jess enjoys photography and would love to make it her full-time career.
Court Courtois – Colin's oldest and best friend. He detests his real first name and requested that it be redacted. Court is an attorney. He loves women, but has no intention of settling down as he 'prefers a buffet'. Known for his charm and wit, he is intensely loyal and very guarded.
Lance Mason – Colin's close friend and business partner. His brother is married to Colin's sister. Lance is self-assured and a bit cheeky and he does his best to keep up with Court (though he never does).
Sam Mason - Nephew to both Colin and Lance, he's in his mid-twenties and works with both of his uncles. Sam is a bit reserved, but is sweet, smart, and funny.
